Discussions in Dispute Resolution: The Origin Stories

We are excited to celebrate the launch of Discussion in Dispute Resolution: The Foundational Articles, co-edited by Faculty Director and Professor Art Hinshaw. Every Thursday in March you can join incredible scholars to discuss the origins of the foundational articles in the dispute resolution field. This book launch event is hosted by the Center on Negotiation and Mediation at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.

 

March 4: Carrie Menkel-Meadow

Professor Art Hinshaw will interview Professor Carrie Menkel-Meadow, UC Irvine School of Law, author of Pursuing Settlement in an Adversary Culture: A Tale of Innovation Co-Opted or the 'Law of ADR.'

 

March 11: Jean Sternlight

March 18: Robert H. Mnookin

Co-editor and Professor Andrea Schneider, Marquette University Law School, will interview Professor Robert H. Mnookin, Harvard Law School, author of Bargaining in the Shadow of the Law: The Case of Divorce.

 

March 25: Leonard L. Riskin

Associate Professor Alyson Carrel, Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, will interview her colleague Professor Leonard L. Riskin, author of Understanding Mediators' Orientations, Strategies, and Techniques: A Grid for the Perplexed.
