Since starting up programs or partnerships puts you in a position to apply for foundation money as well as scholar-based grants, we would like to direct you to resources like the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation, ASU’s free funding database AzGATES, and national resources like Grantstation and the Foundation Center (available for free at the Phoenix Main Library), which can help you locate potential funding sources to support your work.
Please let us know if there are any other materials we can provide you with or if you have any suggestions for us as we try to communicate what we are doing in this area. ASU feels proud to be a part of the movement in this country toward greater social connection between universities and their communities. Please update us on what you are doing in this area—we are eager to hear more about what is going on elsewhere. Email asucommunity@asu.edu.
There are a number of organizations working to support these values at many universities and foundations around the country.
