About the ASU Community Connect Outreach Database

What is the ASU Community Connect programs database?
The ASU Community Connect programs database compiles basic information about hundreds of socially embedded programs and projects at ASU, including health clinics, public lectures, service learning, professional development, summer camps and more. The comprehensiveness of the database relies on ASU faculty and staff to add and maintain their community outreach program information.

Are there any guidelines for what should be added to the database?
Yes, we have two simple requirements for all programs included in our database. If the answer to these questions is yes, then please add your program information. Programs can be open to the general public, intended for a specific audience, of any size or scope, and located anywhere.

  1. Is the program or activity supported by ASU?
  2. Is there a direct benefit to the community?

The data in our database is also used to apply for various grants, accreditations, and for various university publications.

What information is needed to add a program?
We collect the following information for each program. Please visit the "Add a Program" form for detailed information on each field.

  • Program title
  • Description of the program including what it does and how both ASU and the community benefit from it
  • Impact areas modeled after the ASU Challenges
